Support and development of fungal farmsKevin Potard holds a doctorate in mycology, specializing in the biological mechanisms that govern fungal development and the interactions between mycelium, substrate, and environment. His academic work has allowed him to explore in depth the biological conditions that make the fruiting of complex fungi such as morels possible.
At Les Morilleurs, Kevin uses his scientific expertise to develop production projects. He is involved in setting up and managing mushroom farms, supporting project leaders from the technical design phase to the structuring of reliable production systems.
His role encompasses all strategic dimensions: sizing of facilities, selection of cultivation protocols, management of biological risks, organization of production cycles, and yield optimization. His approach combines scientific rigor and operational vision to transform an agricultural project into a high-performing and sustainable production tool.
Through this support, Kevin helps producers and investors to structure viable, reproducible and economically sound mushroom farms, based on a detailed understanding of mushroom biology and field constraints.
